Law of the Fashion Show II

Law of the Fashion Show II: November 12, 2026
New York Fashion Week has never been more volatile than this recent season, nor its future a more ubiquitous subject of conversation within the fashion industry. Join the Fashion Law Institute and our panel of industry insiders as we revisit -- a decade and a half later -- one of our earliest programs to re-evaluate the essence and purpose of a runway show today, the legal agreements necessary for everything from independent contractors to music to venue, security concerns in person and online, the role of counsel working within the demands of "fashion time," the potential effects of AI, and new regulations affecting not only fashion week but also other events throughout the year. From backstage to the front row, "The Law of the Fashion Show" is changing, and we look forward to welcoming you to its cutting edge.
